Chris, Elodie and I met my mom at the food truck park in Atlanta today. Temperatures are in the triple digits, so while eating outside isn’t ideal, we enjoyed it!
This has been my first “official” week of summer & Elodie and I have been having a blast! Chris and I have both been out of school since the first of June, but I’ve been teaching summer school & he’s been in class 4 days a week. Our summer has been pretty non-existent thus far–aside from our quick trip up north for a wedding & fun-filled family timelast weekend.
So here’s a glimpse of what Elodie and I have been up to this week:
We went to story time at the Library:

We went to her weekly gymnastics class:
On the balance beam
Climbing a ladder
Jumping on the trampoline
Giant foam pit
We ventured out to Monkey Joe’s: an indoor playground with lots of inflatables
Exploring @ Monkey Joe’s
Race car @ Monkey Joe’s
These were definitely her favorite part of the inflatables
Taking a break
And today we went to a music class and had some fun with dad “painting” the sidewalk with water & finger painting with actual paint:

Elodie with her water & brushes
Elodie & dad got into a “paint” chase.

It’s been a great week! I love spending time with my sweet girl.
I’ve been having issues with the old blog, so I’m trying to switch things around a bit. So, this website is the one I’m going to be updating from now on.
Stick with me as I try and figures things out, edit the look of the blog & etc. I’m also trying to figure out how to (maybe?) import the blog entries from the old website. I don’t know if I want to do that or not, so we’ll see!
Anyway, bookmark this blog as the NEW one! The other one will still be active, but check here for updates!
Thanks for making the switch with us.
